I am exhausted.. but on Friday just gone, I handed in my last three assignments for Illustration at uni. I'm pretty much finished my degree! WAHAY!
I say ' pretty much ' because I still have to put together a good copy portfolio for the show in a few weeks time.. hang on. Let me rephrase that. In a few weeks time, the show is on, and I need to put together a portfolio right now! But I'm so exhausted from a month of non-stop homework from 8am to 8pm that I just can't even think about it. But I need to, otherwise I will not have anything for the show. But I shouldn't make stuff when I'm tired. But if I don't do it now, my printing options will run out. But BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT. So many problems. Gah. And I thought I was past the stress! No such luck.
In other news, I've been accepted into dotdotdash again, this time for issue 2. Two of my art pieces and also a 'Draw Rites' collaboration with my sister (who is an Emerging Writer) will be published.

EDIT The second 'Bring Your Vision to Life' contest has just been announced, and I'm debating whether to enter or not. While the winners of the last contest were excellent in execution of technique, etc, they couldn't possibly be called 'original' entries or ideas. They were very predictable and quite boring interpretations of the theme 'Good vs Evil'. I was disappointed, not only for myself but those others who had gone unnoticed and yet had very original concepts.
The new theme 'Dreams' also has fantastical interpretations, however these are very obvious. I really hope that the judges think about what they have said they're judging the pieces on.
